Using Ethernet

Receive Length

Receive Length is useful for:

• Defining a data packet as a known number of bytes.

• Allowing the host to limit the amount of data transferred per communication cycle.

Receive Length is configurable for 1 to 470 bytes in 1 byte increments.

Parameter Idle Timeout (in bytes)

Default Setting Always specified

Optional Setting 0 to 470

0 = No receive
